What is a raga, and how is it different from a scale? This informal session introduces the idea through listening and simple singing exercises. It is aimed at people who have never encountered Indian classical music before, and assumes no theoretical background.
Bring nothing but yourself. Everything is done by ear, and there is no expectation that anyone sings alone.
